The Jensen Connection
September 2004
Hi everybody!
Well, thanks for the reminder, mom & Sarah Jane, because I
have not written a family newsletter since JANUARY of 2002!!! I
sure loved hearing your news! Here is some from us!
Dave is currently working at MassMutual Financial Group and absolutely
loving it (he’s been there since September of 2003.) He is
so good at studying and learning in both the financial field and
in the field of technology. He has 3 “titles” after
his name now because of all of the extra training he has had, studying
he has done, and tests he has taken. He has been promoted to an
Assistant Manager. He is able to provide training for the other
newer financial planners. He also goes on some of their first appointments
with them to teach them how to help their clients. He is becoming
better and better at golf! His office sponsored a tournament a couple
weeks ago, and he had a blast going with a few guys from our ward.
Dave is also doing great at keeping our family website up-to-date:
www.rachndave.com. We sure love the digital camera! Dave also got
a new calling: Cub master! He will be great with those boys! Dave
also bought a paint ball gun last week, which he is way excited
about. He likes to go with Sarah’s Scott, John, & Steve.
Rachel has been a stay-at-home mom for the 2nd year in a row and
LOVING it. Natalie & I go to playgroups, libraries, parks, and
on other field trips. I am as always loving my Mary Kay hobby/business-
it is nice to be able to take better care of my customers now that
I am not teaching full time. I am almost ½ way to earning
the use of my first CAREER CAR- the red Pontiac Vibe. That will
be SO fun! I am still the Wolf Den Leader for the ward- it’s
been about 2.5 years and I am just getting the hang of it! ;o) It
is a blast to meet with those 8 year old boys and seeing them learn
and have fun together.
Natalie is of course getting SO tall! She is 35” tall and
weighs 27 lbs. She loves to play with her friends, as well as her
uncles and aunts here in the valley! She loves her Grandparents,
too! Granddad and Grandma Jett play SO many fun games with her when
they visit- she talks about them all the time, even though they
live so far away! Grandma Jett is making Natalie a fairy costume
for Halloween and we can’t wait to see it! Grandpa Jensen
is now the bishop, and she loves to walk up during church to sit
on his lap. Grandma Jensen and Natalie love to play “babies”
together. Natalie is so cute to watch and listen to when she is
pretending! She loves nursery with her teachers, Sister Rosner &
Sister DeBry. They take good care of her every week!
We are excited to see everyone at Melissa & John’s weddings
in November! And then we hope to go to GA at Christmas.
Email us back and let us know YOUR news!
Love ya!
Rachel, Dave, & Natalie Jensen
