The Jensen Connection
January 2002
Hello Everyone.
We are having a fun time with the new addition to the family. Natalie
is a very good natured baby (so far anyhow). She is getting bigger
and bigger.
We are having a great time as a family. Dave is taking all of his
classes at night (6-9 M-F) so he will have time to play Mr. Mom
while Rach finishes out the school year. As for now we enjoy the
days together as Rachel is out of school until late February. I
think we will always look back at these times fondly as life gets
more and more hectic. It is sure fun to not have to worry about
either of our schedules as we are up late with Natalie. Sleeping
in is fun too. Dave usually tries to let Rachel get an hour or so
head start at sleep while he stays up with the baby. During the
night Rachel does all of the work, then again in the morning Dave
wakes up early and takes the baby into the other room so two or
three hours so mom can get some sound sleep (…notice I didn’t
say “some MORE sound sleep”).
Rachel has been released from the primary. She seems to enjoy having
the time to come to classes with me. Unfortunately I am now forced
to behave myself. You can’t win them all. She is spending
a lot of time doing tons of little projects around the house. She
seems to be enjoying herself.
Dave’s classes are going well. It is fun because finally
all of the classes I am taking are on the subject I enjoy. It is
sad that the semester I finally got to take all finance classes
will be my last. (its not sad that its my last, just that it took
so long to get fun classes). Can you believe that I would be reading
most of my text books even if I didn’t have too? That’s
how fun the classes are. Actually I wouldn’t be reading them
if I didn’t have to because I am too cheap to shell out the
$450 bucks that was required to get them (USED…what a crock!).
I’m taking things like Advanced Corporate Finance, Investment
Analysis Technique, Advanced investment Finance etc. I cant wait
to get out into the world and find out that I really don’t
know anything.
Don’t forget to take a look at our Websites www.geocities.com/johansonspage
& www.geocities.com/rachndave. We have pictures of Natalie on
both, but the most of them are at our rachndave site. I would love
to add more pictures to the family site so send me what you can
(you can either send them via email, or send me a hard copy and
Ill scan them in myself.).
Love you all a lot
Rach & Dave
